Men's Purity Conference
Saturday, September 11, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Men have a God-given hunger within for a life of holy  love. But how is it possible for us to love well, when the world's media and marketing departments are determined to toy with our desires? From a very young age, men are exposed to lies about love and sex. Resulting sexual addictions threaten our souls and relationships. This one-day conference is to inspire and equip men to stand and grow in the strength of Christ to overcome sexual addiction. Come and receive grace and grow in hope. Small Groups
Sign-Up on Sundays, September 12 and 19
You don't have to live your life alone! God created us with a need to connect with others, and has provided people with whom we can share life's journey. Small groups are a safe place where you can be real, experience true caring, and develop friendships. And, in the process, become more the person God created you to be. There are dozens of small groups within our community, and more continue to form. Contact Jane Sumner 408.356.5649, JaneESumner@aol.com, for more information about Small Group openings - or to find out how you can start a new one!

Dinners for Eight - Hosts Needed!
Dinners for Eight are a great way to connect with others in our ODCMV congregation! Eight (or so) people gather for dinner in a home, meet in a restaurant, or they may even go out together after church for Sunday lunch. The point is, no one does all the cooking, but all get to enjoy meeting others from our church family in a relaxed environment. We'll be setting up the "dinners" for October, but are looking for hosts now. If you're interested in hosting a Lunch or Dinner for Eight, contact Jane Sumner, 408.356.5649, JaneESumner@aol.com.
