Learn about a "family friendly" short term mission trip to Rancho Agua Viva, just outside of Ensenada in Mexico. Participate in VBS, construction, and/or other ministry opportunities. Save the date for Compassion Weekend 2011 - the weekend when we forgo our normal worship services in favor of worshiping God with our hands as we serve our community in His love and in His name.

Join us for a family dinner and parent discussion with John and Nancy Ortberg to explore the questions of faith alongside the current sermon series based on Tim Keller’s book, our Reason for God series. Widow and Widower Grief Recovery Class 
Tuesdays, Feb 15 - May 3, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Menlo Park campus: 950 Santa Cruz Ave., Library

The Widow and Widower Grief Recovery class welcomes widows and widowers of all ages who have had a recent loss of a spouse, or those individuals still struggling with the loss of their spouse from years past.  Our class provides a safe place for sharing experiences, understanding the grieving process, finding hope and support, and beginning our journey to recovery.  More information available at mppc.org.

"The Reason for God" Drop-in Small Group
Tuesdays, through February 15, 7:00 p.m.

You are welcome to join in a small group study based on our current 6-week sermon series entitled "The Reason for God", based on a book of the same name, by Tim Keller. This series will address some tough questions many people have about God and Christianity. An accompanying study guide is available for small groups interested in taking a deeper look into the questions and issues raised by the series.

If you're not in a small group that plans to study the series, or if you would simply like to check out what being in a small group would be like, a drop-in small group will be available in the Fireside Room at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings throughout the 6-week series. Join us on this journey from Exile To Belonging, held on the beautiful grounds of the Mercy Center in Burlingame. This one day set apart to tend to your soul will offer time for spiritual discovery, renewal and fun.

Our speaker, Leanna Tankersley, will draw on various themes from her first book, "Found Art", providing time and space for self-reflection and self-expression, which she considers necessary components of healing and transformation. Debbie Shaeffer, worship leader at MPPC's Menlo Park campus, will lead us in worship.

Space is limited - early registration is encouraged. Pray about joining us. We hope to see you there!
