Did You Know?
Many Thanks from Help One Child!
Thanks to your efforts, Help One Child’s first ever Backpack Drive was a rousing success! Through the generosity of dedicated volunteers from participating organizations who donated backpacks and school supplies, we were able to make dreams come true for 200 foster children throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara County! Thanks for being a blessing to our ministry and to the foster families we serve!
In September:
Saturday, September 8, 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Mountain View Campus: 1667 Miramonte Ave., Fellowship HallMen Pursuing Purity invites you to a one-day conference, a rallying cry for healing and freedom from sexual addiction, for all men who struggle to remain pure in our sexually broken culture. Join us as we draw near to God to learn not only His will for our lives as men, but His grace when we cry out for mercy. Led by Peter Kockelman, we’ll be challenged to see our sexuality according to God’s design, and learn strategies for holy living. Together we will seek to lean not upon our own efforts, but upon His power to transform us into the men He has created us to be.
Registration: $30 - Includes conference, breakfast and lunch. Pay at the conference, cash or checks (written out to MPPC).
Follow-up Groups will meet at the Open Door Church Office: 1451 Grant Rd., Suite 102, Mountain View. Contact Ricky Koo, Ricky.Koo@gmail.com.

Dinners For Eight—Host Sign-Ups

Contact Jane Sumner, 408.356.5649, JaneESumner@aol.com, if you're interested in hosting or participating in a dinner near you!
