In March:
Join us on Wednesday evenings during the Lenten season for special prayer and worship services crafted to help us prepare our hearts for Easter. Contact Josh Sturgeon, jsturgeon@mppc.org.
Compassion Weekend is just around the corner, and YOU can be a part of making it all happen! Join us for lunch in the Fellowship Hall after church on Sunday, March 18, and learn how you can assist project leaders with coordinating the details of projects being hosted by Open Door Church Mountain View. Contact Bridget McNiel, bridget_mcniel@hotmail.com.
Join the ODCMV High School group for a weekend trip to Southern California to enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth! We will drive down together after school on Friday, spend the night in a hotel, and then spend all of Saturday at Disneyland and California Adventure. This should be an awesome time for our kids and leaders to bond while enjoying the Magic Kingdom. Friends are welcome! Contact Zack Aumiller, zaumiller@mppc.org.
Looking for an opportunity to connect with people? Dinners for Eight is a great place to start! Eight (or so) people gather for a "pot luck" style meal in a home, meet in a restaurant, or they may even go out together after church for Sunday lunch. The point is, no one does all the cooking, but all get to enjoy meeting others from our church family in a relaxed environment.
In addition to dinners for “all comers”, this time around, we’re hoping to find hosts from the variety of “life stages” represented in our congregation: singles, married with kids, married without kids, single parents, empty nesters, etc. If you’d like to help people in your life stage find connection with others they can relate to, consider hosting a “life stage” targeted “Dinner for Eight”.
Contact Jane Sumner, 408.356.5649, JaneESumner@aol.com, if you're interested in hosting or participating in a dinner near you!
Coming Soon:
Join us as we take time during the week leading up to Easter to contemplate and celebrate the sacrifice of love Jesus gave to make it possible for us to have an up close and personal relationship with God, culminating in a celebration of the resurrection!

Good Friday Service
